Lead Today

All of us are leaders.  Not necessarily because we choose to lead, but because we are brought to the situation.  Whether we like it or not, someone is looking up to us, may it be our children, members, younger friends, younger siblings, freshmen and others.  We may not be aware of it, but we are in a state of leadership crisis.  We need more good role models. This is evident with families breaking up due to parents not being responsible heads of their household, corrupt politicians and businessmen who put their own interest first rather than the society's, and crime brought about by syndicates and gangs who use their leadership abilities for greed.

Let us take on the challenge to Lead Today.  Leadership is never about position, but about caring enough for others, the society, and our world.  We turn to the best model of leadership, Jesus Christ.  This blog is about insights and reflections on Christian leadership.  "...whoever wishes to be great among you will be your servant;whoever wishes to be first among you will be the slave of all.  For the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many (Mark 10: 43-45).”

May you lead others closer to Jesus, Servant of all and King of heaven and earth.
